“So remember, I’ll be the one administering your vaccine okay?,” the RN informed me after she checked me in.
“Oh, we’ll remember you for a long time,” the woman behind me remarked.
“Are you a teacher? You all are heroes,” the RN asked a group of us who were waiting in line, our ID badges peeking out of our coats.
“No, you all are our heroes,” we all echoed similar sentiments back.
“Are you doing okay?,” she asked me after.
“More than okay. Just taking it all in that this is happening,” I replied with a true cleansing exhale and sigh of relief.
“Okay, you’re all set. See you next time.”
“Thank YOU.”
Like big moments in life, we remember the faces and the encounters of those around us- most often strangers. These are the snapshots of today that I will remember for a long, long while.

I get mine tomorrow!
Love the snapshot and snippets of conversation. You brought me into the scene, and I could hear the back and forth.
