It’s 8:06pm, my sweats are on and I’m in bed. Today seemed to be too much. I think about how today was a challenging day for my class and fourth-grade team, I’m reflecting on night two of parent teacher conferences, and I’m thinking about all that is unknown.
Just when it feels all too much, I remember how I started my day; telling a student, “you can do it, come on, one foot in front of the other.” When the student didn’t budge, my words changed slightly, “we can do it together, join me, one foot in front of the other.” We did it- we made it to where we needed to be.
We can do it. We got this. One foot in front of the other.
I can so relate to this – a day being too much, too busy, running out of steam. A timely bit of encouragement – thank you đŸ™‚

We all needed a little pep talk. So much uncertainty we need to take care of ourselves.

This is so short and sweet, but inspiring. Glad you pushed through your conferences!

It does feel so overwhelming … with all of the unknowns. I too love to turn to my sweats and a cozy spot. Thank you for the pep talk – I needed it. Slice of Life just might get us through the month of March and all that is going on!
